Enano CMS Project

Enano 1.1.4 released

Three months of development. Three days since I've last showered. And a heck of a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. Yes, it's finally here, folks.

On behalf of the entire Enano team it is my pleasure to announce the immediate release of Enano 1.1.4 to the public. This is the fourth alpha release in our ongoing development effort towards the 1.2.0 milestone. I'll start with the obligatory instability warning:

THIS RELEASE IS HIGHLY UNSTABLE AND IS LIKELY TO CAUSE YOU PROBLEMS. IF YOU INSTALL IT ON A PRODUCTION WEBSITE, DO NOT EXPECT SUPPORT FROM US. No support of any kind is provided for this release.

Enano 1.1.x will not run on PHP 4.x. PHP 5 or PHP 6.0.0-dev is required.

This release is nearing our feature completion goals for Caoineag. We plan to push out one more alpha release after 1.1.4 just to make sure things are ready for polishing and that everything we need is there. For the record, 1.1.4 consists of more Mercurial revisions than any other Enano release to date, with 157 revisions (including our 500th) committed from the release of 1.1.3 to the release of 1.1.4. Enano 1.1.4 has 12 fewer files, but many more than that were added and removed.

Download this and test it on your test server. You might be impressed. :)

If you can see this text, it means that your browser does not support Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). CSS is a fundemental aspect of XHTML, and as a result it is becoming very widely adopted by websites, including this one. You should consider switching to a more modern web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox or Opera 9.

Because of this, there are a few minor issues that you may experience while browsing this site, not the least of which is some visual elements below that would normally be hidden in most browsers. Please excuse these minor inconveniences.
